Hello Bob! Sometimes the best way to reconnect with an expert that you were chatting with is to just open up another chat request.

The good news is that you, as the paying customer, gets to decide if the expert provided a proper response to your question, or provided the solution to your problem.

By opening up another chat request, shortly after you got disconnected, you stand a pretty good chance of getting them again. If you get someone else, you can politely decline them and mark the session as "rejected" meaning you won't get charged for that particular chat. Further, since it is a paid chat session, the expert won't have their rating percentages adversely affected by your rejection of the session.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

PS: Just wondering if you know Bob_computer in Canada!

I have a 2008 Pontiac G5 that will not crank I think it's the anti theft lock how do I bypass it and it's been sitting for 8 ,months and someone ripped the ignition switch out

To fix your problem Fix what they ripped out first. You can get the key/lockset and ignition switch at parts stores. Fix wiring also if needed. After it is back to normal. Do a relearn for the key. Put a battery charger on the battery( you don't want it to go below 8 volts). Turn the key on for ten minutes, off for thirty seconds. Three times. Then try to start. If the voltage gets to low or you hit the starter at any time, you have to start over. This will reprogram passlock III keys to the security.

Key wont unlock door suzuki grand vitara

Not a car expert but have some common sense advice---is it possible the vehicle was re-keyed before you got it? Someone may have lost the original keys and resorted to just using the other feature---a year is a long time not to know about this---I should not talk as recently got a vehicle where owner said rear window would not open for last two years=that vehicle has child safety locks on rear doors that also disable windows--needless to say nothing wrong.

I would talk to Suzuki if the key box is a factory installed item to see if it has a way of locking the physical keys out.

Worth asking---if after market item it may have been installed in a way that causes this issue.

Key memory loss, will it stop engine if key lost memory en route,ie battery in key dead

Thank you for asking me directly to help you with your problem. However, it is quite impossible to provide any information about your security or immobilizer system. You didn't mention what kind of car you are talking about (year, make, model, engine size) or if you are talking about a factory installed immobilizer or an aftermarket immobilizer. This is really need-to know information if you would like a helpful answer to your question.
