Your dealership can read the codes entered into your car's computer every time it malfunctions. Same problem as yours, however, also gets worse, back up lights won't work, sticks in park (in the gas stationing) (very embarrassing), will only run with foot on gas, etc. It was the "neutral safety switch". $500 fix but runs and starts perfectly all the time.
Check connections at battery and check battery may be enough power to light up dash but not start truck if good check starter wiring and connections if good may have problem at ignition switch -the switch it self or a wire problem in steering column good luck

easy trouble shoot easy fix ! check to see if its getting fire if not replace the crank sensor it will fire right up common problem with the jeeps . Hope this helps you out !!!

Does it still say disk error if you change disks?
If so, first guess would be that either a disk is inserted upside down in it's slot or the disk is too scratched up for the player to read.
But if it was playing that disk when you shut the engine off and said disk error when you cranked up again, it could be a fault in the player.
Sometimes CD player "eyes" can get dirty too. I don't know if this is your fix, but I hope it helps a little.
