if its a v8 its on the underside on the flywheel/torqueconverter housing in the centre 8mm bolt or torx head close to the subrame crossmember if its a x300 straight six its on the top front above crank pulley 8mm bolt.

Where is the battery on 1995 jaguar vanden plas??? Spent an hour looking for it, giving up

HI, to locate the battery you need to open the boot/ trunk then look on one of the sides you should see a panel will pull open giving you access to the battery, from what i can remember its on the right hand side in the trunk/boot, have a look you should be able to find it now you know where you are looking.

Leaking valve covers, 2000 jaguar vanden plas supercharged

no there is'nt enough pressure underneath to make it leak try tighting up the valve cover bolts or just getting a new gasket about a $6.00 to $10.00 dollar fix depending on where you go
