Audi A4 1.8T Avant 190 S-Line Quattro. Rear washer is leaking down the inside of the bootlid, and as it is right in the centre it is running down on to the boot catch and causing the boot catch sensor to think the boot is open when it isnt.

Can anyone tell me how to get the panelling off the inside of the boot lid and also, if i dry out the motor and reconnect the pipes etc, will everything come right??

2001 a4 audi steering is tigth

Do you mean hard to steer your steering wheel?
If you have a noise when you are turning your steering wheel, you may have low power steering fluid. Add power steering fluid into your power steering fluid reservoir to the level required (check with your manual book). Make sure you get the right power steering fluid for Audi A4. Hope it will help

My alarm keeps going off on audi a4 the dashboard is showing that the boot lid is open but it mis closed how do i stop the alarm going off?

Have the lock checked on the boot. It might have got out of alignment and is not making a good circuit back to the alarm. Might be a loose wire.

Just the code

transmission and engine codes normally printed on a paper label in the boot around the spare wheel well.

Alarm for audi A4

Try disarming the car from the trunk. Sounds like the door lock switch is not deactivating the alarm, which it should, with or without the remote.

Engine number location for 2002 audi a4

is it a 1.8 turbo or 2.8 V6 or 2.7 biturbo V6 ? on most models what you will be looking for is a 3 letter code like ATQ or APW and is normally on a sticker on the timing belt cover, it is also stamped into the engine on a ledge up high. if no luck there check the owners manual, around the 3rd page there will be a sticker that was put in the book during predelivery inspection this sticker is about 3 inches by 3 inches and filled with id codes for almost everything. If the pdi wasn't done right another copy of the same sticker will be under or next to the spare tire in the spare tire well.

Audi a3 1.9 tdi alarm keeps going off

this sounds like a faulty 'boot' switch. Many of the older models had issues with picky switches
