Same problem, I took to dealer 1 year ago and was told both lights would go out and bulbs were fine. They opene up right panel in front passenger seat and it appeared the wiring harness was loose, It looked as if someone had rigged the wiring. I have only taken to dealer so who knows. They tightened up the wires and lights came back on.

did you check the fuse box? there is a fuse for each left and right low beam (HID lights). In my 03 it was the second fuse from the top right hand side -- check owners guide for fuse # Hope thats all it is.

2004 Lincoln Navigator> How do you tell if your head lamp bulb is HID or not?

Look at the existing bulbs.

HID bulbs are a a different shape and have a high voltage ballast because the are a high voltage arc lamp.

As opposed to a standard halogen bulb that has a filament.

The light from HID is much brighter and often brilliant white or blue-white.

Hello,I have a 2003 lincoln navigator, i replaced the drivers side low beam HID headlight and it is not lighting. the fuse is good. Have you heard of any problems with this particular situation

Check for voltage at the plug where it connects to lamp, if there's 12vdc, you probably have a bad connector plug. If no voltage present, trace back to fuse box. Switch similar relays around

2004 Lincoln Navigator low beam headlight went out so I changed the bulb and fuse but it still does not work.

If you have the HID bulbs check with an Autoparts store like Autozone. I believe the right and left headlights have separate Relays in the Powerbox. It is possible that there are 2 low beam and 2 high beam relays total. They pull too much power for both sides to be wired together and may wire the high beams separate too!
