Is there a fuel pump fuse on a 95 tahoe, i was told it was on the left side firewall, the fuel pump will not turn on when the key is turned over, replaced the fuel pump relay, fuel pump was replaced in april this year

RPO codes tell what was on the car sold day 1, RPM is GMs name for AS _BUILT
RPO tells if car is IMMO opted. and matters first.

symptoms so far:
cranks ok
starts and runs and dies fast my guess 3seconds fast but not told
if dies, use right foot to prevent the stall, and post her if it did or not.

NO SCAN tool used is a very bad thing, on any modern car.
buy one , rent, lease, barrow one, or have car savvy friend scan yours.
I bet the tool tells you what fails

1: bad fuses. all must be checked on modern cars as lots of communications bus, can fail fuse blown.
2: engine compression pass.
3: scans show X,y, bad, tell what it finds, and we tell you what to check next.
eg: P0341, cmp dead. or ckp dead or error that says , they are out of sync,(timed wrong means0
4: fuel pressure not at spec cranked, , using gauge per SM
5: not reading the SM here.

and more car cranks but alternator is dead and after it runs battery voltage is too low.
and sets a DTC for weak battery as it fails.
use a charger to keep battery fully charged and test ALT For dead. 13v to 15vdc is good running later when it does.

It could be the fuel pump or just the fuel pump relay, try reseting the relay / breaker on the top of the firewall. Also have someone lister at the gas tank with the cap off when you turn on the key and see it they hear the fuel pump come on. Chevy's have loud pumps and are easy to hear. If it doesn't come on, try the reset or you may need a new pump. Sitting on its side could have run it dry and cause it to go bad.

didnt specify year of vehicle most relays for tahoe is under hood and at side of dash on drivers side -- turn key to on and listen for hum of pump no hum try starting with starter fluid if starts test for power to connections ,pump and relay if power more than likely pump shot

Your fuel pressure can be checked by connecting a fuel test gauge up to fuel test port which will be located on the fuel rail at the back of the engine on drivers side next to the distributor.Your fuel pressure should be 60-66 psi with key on engine off.If its not within these specs then replace the fuel pump and filter.

Gauge fuse runs a fuel module that is installed to correct vapor lock. This module is what is running the pump. This module, called the hot fuel module is mounted on the passenger side behind the dash above the blower motor.

Try relearning the key to the ignition,turn the key on,leave it on for ten minutes,then turn it off,then right back on,do this three times,a total of thirty minutes.If this was helpful,please rate,thank you.

So as I understand it the fuse only blew after a fuel pump job.

There is a TSB on repeated fuel pump failures with these trucks. The fix is to also replace the harness connector that plugs into the tank harness.

Unplg the harness and inspect it before you turn the key again if you suspect this.

check your fuel filter also crack one side of the line to the filter and turn the key on! to make sure the pump is actually pumping gas to the front ! if it is then you could have a fuel injector stuck!! take a small hammer and gently rap the top of the injectors till the spray fuel while cranking also check your injector fuses in the fuse panel to make sure you didnt blow one

most likely on the firewall comes out of fuel pump relay harness only has power while running or for two seconds when ign key is first turned on
