99 durango, both front and back passenger side windows dont role down. driver side front and rear role up and down fine

There are a few possible reasons why the front and back passenger side windows on your 99 Durango aren't rolling down:
  1. Faulty window regulator: The window regulator is the mechanism that moves the window up and down. Over time, the regulator can become worn or damaged, making it difficult or impossible to operate the window.
  2. Electrical issue: It's possible that there's an issue with the electrical system that powers the passenger side windows. This could be caused by a blown fuse, a faulty switch, or a problem with the wiring.
  3. Window motor failure: The window motor is responsible for moving the window up and down. If the motor is faulty, the window won't move.
  4. Window switch problem: The window switch could also be the culprit. If the switch is damaged or not functioning properly, the window won't roll down.
To diagnose the issue, you can start by checking the fuses related to the power windows. If the fuses are intact, you can use a voltmeter to check if the switch is receiving power when it's pressed. If the switch is getting power, the problem could be with the window motor or regulator.
If you're not comfortable performing these diagnostic steps, it's best to take your Durango to a qualified mechanic or automotive electrician for further inspection and repair.

The electric windows and door locks only work on drivers side of a 2000 buick le sabre limited. why?

The passenger side locks an windows don't work with thier own switches ? Check for B+ voltage at the front passenger door module . Do you know how to do that ? You need to take the front right door panel off . Check for a broken wire inside the rubber boot from the body to the door .
Power Windows
The vehicle is equipped with power windows controlled by the door modules. The DDM receives a window switch request, over the SBI serial data, from either the passenger door module wired to the window switch pressed or from the driver door switch assembly. The DDM checks the Class 2 serial data to see if the status information is correct (i.e. ignition switch position) to permit window operation.
If the status information to permit window operation is correct, the DDM sends the command to the door module controlling the window to move the window as requested.

Passenger electric window will go down but not up

The master switch is the one located on the drivers side. If this switch has a malfunction it can rob power from the passenger side causing the problem you have. If the regulator/motor are in working order and you know the passenger switch is ok then that could be the problem. Another couple of possible problems could be a broken wire in the harness traveling from the car to the door (inside the rubber protective boot or a weak window motor (1990 is pretty old for a motor of that type.

Need to get a wiring diagram. Buy a book and follow the wiring schematic. It should help you out majorly. Can't really work on electrical issues without one.

2005 Dodge Durango passenger window wont go down from drivers side switch

It sounds like everything else and the wiring is okay, only that button on the driver's switch is not working. I would try a new switch, if you see nothing wrong with the electrical plug for it when you take it off.
If that down wire was broken somewhere from the driver switch to the passenger door, I don't think the driver's switch would work for it either way, up or down. And same, neither would the passenger switch work. I think the button for down is not making contact somehow, and right in the switch.

Buick century 1998 power window passenger side will not work , nothing work mechinal , all other windows work

You most likely have a bad window lift motor or MORE LIKELY a broken window regulator. The door must be disassembled to replace either or both of these.
It could also be a bad window control switch or a broken wire in the door-jamb area. Please note that EITHER of the switches for the passenger window (the driver's control switch or the one on the passenger door) can cause BOTH of the switches to not work to move the passenger window. In this case, electrical diagnosis must be performed to locate the cause of the problem.

Passenger window operates intermittingly. When it

The problem could be in the master window switch on the drivers door, or the window motor could be going out, but most likely the cause is a broken wire inside of the weather boot that runs between the door and the body of the vehicle, and the broken wire is making intermittent contact because the door is being opened and closed all the time, and sometimes the wire will touch and make the connection and that is why it only works sometimes.

Try this the next time that the window stops working, hold the window switch down in whatever direction that you want the window to go (up or down) and while holding the switch in that position open and close the drivers side door and move or wiggle around the weather boot that contains the wiring that is between the door and the body of the vehicle, and do the same for the passenger side door, if the window starts working while you are holding down the window switch and opening and closing the door or moving around the weather boot between the door and the body of the vehicle, then there is a broken wire or even wires that will need to be repaired.

The broken wire can be on either the passenger side, or most likely on the drivers side, and if you do find a broken wire or wires, then you should repair the wires by soldering them well and use the same gage wire if you need to lengthen the wire to repair it successfully, and do not use a wire connector if you want the repair to last.
