Greetings. My 1993 Buick Regal is making a terrible grinding noise. I don't know much about cars, so i will do my best to explain.
-Dec - hit curb on rainy afternoon and got a flat tire. steering wheel was at about 2:00. i replaced tire and asked them to straighten up wheel. that happened, but the car immediately began pulling right. i neglected this for some time.
-jun - the brakes suddenly became very weak. grinding noise starts.
-sep - take car in for alignment as it is pulling harder and harder right.
-oct - car is now pulling right again, with no additional damage done. grinding is worse than ever. sounds like it is coming from the right front side, about where i hit the curb.
If you got a car, maybe you must need that
USB 457W 9 6A1 5m YELLWWORS
TAKE IT BACK WHERE THEY DONE THE LAST LOT OF WORK and tell them to do the complete job again as it sounds like a con job to me as a wheel aligment should last for a year a least and the grinding is in the braking system and something must still be bent ,
Its still under warranty dont pay any more..
If there is play - up /down/ front /back ,then it will be the wheel bearing. Trust me, I replaced rotor disc pads and even caliper - but same noise was still coming from car - even after changing/ swapping left and right pads and rotors (again) to try to remedy the grinding noise.
Turned out the bearings were worn on drivers side on my MX6. Nasty job to have to do too....

have you checked you brakes lately? you may have jarred the brakes to a point they are sticking and are now worn and grinding. i may need some more info. please email the follorwing info to me at [email protected] have you brakes been check within the last month? did you have an alignment done? jack up the car where the car hit the curb, taking the tire off of the ground. put your hand at the 9 and 3 position on the tire and shake back and furth. any play? not put hands at 12 and 6, and shake. any play? did the curb damage the rim?
