Sensors are on the left front and right rear brake pads. So one set is failing....time to replace the worn set and probably the sensor too!

I have a 1990 jaguar xj6 my anti lock light is on and my brake is hard and also the brake light is on and i bled the brakes fluid

has your car got the engine driven power boost system? or the electric pump teves system, you can tell which by looking under bonnet to see if you have a pump on the front of engine driven by cam drive chain idler gear or a valve and pressure bottle on the rear of n/s inner wing. the latter is the electric pump type and you can if working hear the pump run when you turn ignition on it runs for about 5-10 seconds, let me know which type and I will try and help.

I have a 1993 Jaguar xj6 the power brakes are not working. Very hard to stop like manual brakes. They worked until I pressure washed under the hood. All fuses are good best I can tell, ABS relay is good....

I would, Double check your brake fluid level first. Also;

The water from the pressure washer may have made it into 1 or more of the electrical plugs on and/or around the master cylinder. You may try carefully removing the plugs, ( be careful not to break the little plastic clips that hold them in place,) try and use a hair blow dryer to make sure there's no moisture in either end of the plug and then reconnect.

As far as the ABS, ( anti-lock breaking system ), it is a safety and secondary part of your breaking system and usually would not meet emergency statis by itself, however, with your primary breaks also having a warning light on, I absolutely would consider your break issues as an emergency.

I hope this helps.

95 jaguar xj6 no brake or reverse lights

Hi the Jaguar XJ6 works off a 12volt, negative earth.... Jauguar are a legend for electrical faults.... ok you need to do a voltage check/fault check on the system, remove the fuses from the associated problems, i.e the rear lights! place a volt metre over the contacts and there should be no voltage present! grab the wiring harness and move it side to side! if you see a rise in the volt metre then there is a short to the earth! this can be done through out the systen including switches.... i would personally check the earth contacts near he problem areas these corrode and you then get a short in the cicuit

Hope this helps.

Where is the fuse box on a 1992 jaguar Xj6 soverign

There is a fuse box on either side of the driver and passenger footwells, and a small fuse box in the centre console. But if the taillights don't work, its probably just bulbs to replace

96 Jaguar xj6 Electrical Issues

The brake light may or may not be connected the the door problem but I would start with checking the ground wires. i have had a problem with the door lock relay and if that is blown the car will not start.
