Sorry your tiburon won'y start and you have spent so much money with no results.so lets start with basics, is battery voltage at least 12 volts and does the engine crank over ?, next do you have fuel pressure of 50 psi and good volume?remove a fuel injector electical connector and test for injector pulse.then perform a fuel pressure drop test on each inj.this will tell you if they are spraying.do you have good spark at all the sparkplugs? perform a compression test, spec is 203-218 psi. next you will need to check camshaft timing by bring # 1 cyl. to tdc on the compression stroke and checking the timing marks on the crank and camshaft gears.wish you the best let me know the results.

1995 oldsmobile cutless has trouble with stalling.

Your problem may be one of the following:
First check or just replace the fuel filter. Usually located under the car in front of the rear axle, drivers side.
Next, the fuel pump may be worn out. Usually they just stop working (running).
Next, check the fuel pressure regulator. Usually located on the front fuel rail, drivers side.
Is the vacuum line attached? Not leaking or rotted?
Also, do you smell a strong fuel odor when it won't start? May be one or more stuck-open injectors, or the coil pack is bad.
Checking these in the order listed will more than likely fix your problem.
The clicking noise indicates the battery can no longer run the starter, which also means the fuel pump won't run either.

It could be a fuel issue. How old is the fuel filter? Can you hear the pump run for a few seconds when you turn the key on? Try turning the key to ON without trying to start engine three times waiting for the pump to stop running each time. Then try to start the engine. If it starts, Its a form of Vapor lock caused by the extreme heat we have had lately.

If none of this works, try a new fuel filter first. From there have someone check the fuel pressure regulator and then the pump. If you are in need of a new pump, take my word for it and spend the money to get one from GM, and not from your favorite parts store. Most parts store parts are made in China and they are JUNK.

Have you hooked a scanner to the computer and checked the oxygen sensor(s)? If they are bad they could lean out the engine.

Also, a restricted exhaust system can lower engine performance. If you dont know old the plugs and wires are, replace them. With plug wires, its the age not the miles. How old is the coil pack? It could be "breaking down" at higher rpm

I have a 2001 Chevy Venture. The vehicle is hard to start when it is cold or after it has been running. Once it starts, itruns fine. Also has a engine code lean bank one. I know one of the issues could be...

I have never heard of a major tune-up

All vehicle tuning has been done by
on board computers since 1980
some 30 years

Spark plug wires last the life of the vehicle
They only get replaced when they fail.
I had 1 wire fail in 46 years,personally

You do not have both an Ignition Module
as well as Coil Packs. They are installed
in two different systems

Any dash light you get & again they have
been there for 30 years, you retrieve any codes
within a couple days, diagnose code issues first
& repair. You have O2Sensor Codes
They wouldn't effect hard start problems

I would check fuel pressure with a gauge
Also Fuel Pressure Regulator

Vacuum Leaks
At least clean the MAF Sensor
Check TPS Sensor

Basically you need your vehicle tested in all
areas

There is a serious misconception that a
tune-up ,spark plugs etc are a cure all

I don't even start there when diagnosing
anything. You could throw away 2 plugs
& it would still start

I want to see what does work & how

Spark Plugs & other items you can get
from the vehicle history & past maintainance

1999 Cavalier Z24 P0300. Changed plugs, plug boots, and coil packs. Burning rich...

Sounds like you have a bad fuel pressure regulator.Take the vacuum hose off the regulator and look for fuel if there is fuel present replace regulator. But if you don't have in vacuum hose hook a fuel gauge up to fuel rail then start the engine look at reading on gauge now pull vacuum hose off and if pressure does'nt rise 5-10 psi replace pump.

Hard starting, no power, idles rough, check engine lite code shows misfire on #1,#2 and #3 cylinders

check fuel pressure, check fuel pressure regulator, change fuel filter. If fuel pressure is low it could be a bad pump, a clogged filter, or a malfunctioning fuel pressure regulator. If all those check out, then check crankshaft and camshaft position sensors.

RANDOM STARTING PROBLEMS; MOTOR SEEMS TO BE TURNING OVER FINE AND TRYS TO START; IF YOU WAIT AWHILE ALMOST ALWAYS START 1999 TIBURON

you may also have a plugged fuel filter if crank sensor and temp sensor turn out ok on the ohmmeter.
Next thing you will want to do is check for spark in each cylinder. You can pull one spark plug out, replug it back in to plug wire, lay on engine block, 1/4" form metal and the probe of plug, have someone else crank car, while you watch for spark. Then replace plug and wire and move on to then next. If you have one bad one, replace plug wire, if two or 3, it could be bad coil packs, if no spark, then it would be faulty module or crank sensor.

If spark is good, then you will want to check for fuel. You should have a fuel pressure test port on the fuel rail, with a rag, place over port, and press in valve to see if there is pressure. If no pressure, either fuel filter is plugged or fuel pressure regulator is faulty. As long as you can hear fuel pump turn on each time the ignition is placed in on position. If not, then relay or pump could be faulty.

Car won't start

There is a recall on this model for problems with the Engine Control Module/Coil Pack. This causes the engine to not start. Take it to the nearest Saturn dealer and get it repaired free of charge. This problem can eventually burn up your catyletic converter which will lead to much more costly repairs. There are actually 3 recalls on this vehicle. Take it to the dealer and get it taken care of. It will be like driving a new car once the repairs have been made!
