Rear wiper on 2006 chevy uplander does not work. fuses are good, but get nothing. I'm thinking the motor is bad. Is this a do-it-yourselfer?
I have a 2006 chevy uplander and i need to change the low beam headlamp how do i do it, also about a month after we had got the van the rear wiper stopped working i haven't checked the fuse yet, but is this a common problem for the uplander, and also the abs light stays on what should i do for that problem, and also when we drive it and then shut it off it does not want to turn on right away.
The rear wiper is not sealed well around the shaft that protrudes out. The only solution is to remove the motor and attempt to lubricate the shaft that the wiper blade hooks too. My motor had plenty of grease inside But the shaft was rusted so badly it couldn't move. Very carefully kept applying penetrating oil to the shaft and finally it freed up. Works perfect now. Just a poor design

Very easy job to do it yourself. You can pick up the part from any auto parts store. All you do is to remove the nut that holds the wiper blade on. Then you remove the interior trim panel. Then there is 3 bolts which hold on the motor and then unplug it. The install is the reversal of the above.
Good answer Punky, These motors go bad often and blow the fuses inside the cabin panel also. Check that too. GL
