You need to remove the filler neck, it has screws I think inside the gas fill door. Pull it out of the fuel tank, go under the car and remove the old rubber donut seal where tube enters the fuel tank, spray some car cleaner on the rubber and as quickly as possible insert the tank fill tube and put it all back together.

inside the gas tank, and also onthe driver side frame rail under the car under the driver door hindge inside the frame rail with a plastic cover over it held on with a hose clamp and held to the frame with a self threading bolt that has a 13MM head. has a fuel line ( plastic ) comingout ofboth ends and a 2 wire electrical connector. The tank pump is in the front side of the tank and with the car jacked up by the body it's just above the rear axel and can be removed with the tank still mounted to the car.. The tank needs to be level and less than 1/2 full orr the fuel will come out as the tank is opened. some cars have only the tank pump, and none on the frame.
inside the trunk there is a plastic handle attached to a small cable, this is the manual release, it is near the door, u mau have to pull the trunk linning back to see it.
There should be a manual release in the trunk. Sometimes it's hidden behind the carpet panel, but it will be near the trunk lid or near the gas tank lid on the interior of the trunk.
