That is a AC compressor problem.
It may be no compressor oil in that compressor

Landrover 2001 cuts out after 5 to 10 minutes (no spark,no fault lights/warning signals)After 30+ minutes car starts runs perfect for 5 to 10 and cuts out.Help needed, thanks

I just ran into a 2002 Discovery doing the same thing. What ended up being the fix was a cam sensor and crank sensor. That is about all I can say without more information. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Ac repair 2000 land rover discovery

Please check the a/c compressor clutch; it may be not working. FYI the compressor does not run all the time. It is the clutch that will cycle on and off to maintain a/c circuit pressure. To check, put the a/c on high and watch the compressor under the hood to see if it cycles.
