Open the hood, and look at the top of the headlight assembly. There should be a couple of L-shaped pins sticking down through it. Some had two, some only had one, so adjust as necessary. Pull the pins, and remove the headlight. As for the turn signal, there should be a plastic clip that holds it on, that you have to push on in order for it to release. When you get it released, you should be able to pull it away from the body.

How do I change out the day time running lamps?

Hello, my name is Ben and I can help you with this. First you must remove the headlight assembly to gain access to the Daytime Running Lights ( DRLs ). Open the hood and look at the top of the headlight, you will see 2 gray colored rods, unsnap them and pull them straight up and set them aside in a safe place. Now you can unplug the headlight assembly and remove it. The turn signal/DRL assembly can be removed by pushing in on the spring clip on one end of the housing and swinging it out and away from the truck. The bulb holders just twist out. I hope this helps, if you have any other questions, please ask, Ben.

Hi i have a checy silverado 1500 with a v8. I started it and it ran fine...when I noticed my engine light start to blink the truck acted like it was going to spit and sputter but just stalled out. When I...

Read the codes off of the computer using an OBD-II Scanner to get a clue as to what is wrong. The codes from when it was sputtering will likely be stored in the computer.

Good luck.

I have a 2000 silverado 1500 It has a ticking sound in the cab like the turn signal is constantly on

This only happens if the key is in the on/run position, right? It might be related to the climate control. If you move the vent selection from cold to hot does it stop. Don't turn or more everything at once. It will mess up finding the source of the problem.
