Sounds like you have one of two problems. either a clogged fuel filter( the easy one), or a fuel pump problem. The fuel pump problem could be as simple as a blown fuse, bad wire connection, or it could be a bad pump. Hope this helps.

Starts right up immediately dies

I would check for proper fuel pressure. Sounds like your pump might be on its way out. For a TBI engine you should have around 10PSI at the throttle body.

2004 chevy cavalier wi'll not start unless I keep my foot on gas. Then it will start but won't stay running until it warms up. While driving it runs fine untill you brare then it stalls out.

Pressing the pedal down, puts in clear flood mode. Any applicable trouble codes? Did you use a gage and check correct fuel pressure, also, see if pressure will hold for a bit, with everything off. If it drops like a rock you have fuel leak. Pull vac line off fuel pressure regulator, where applicable, if fuel runs out, you have a faulty fuel pressure regulator. You could have fuel injector leak?
Smell of your crankcase oil dipstick, if it smells like gas, either you don't change your oil and filter very often or fuel leak. There could be other issues? You have to start testing, somewhere.

Car not starting in morning

It sounds as though you are imitating a cold start injector by pouring fuel into intake. I would start there

2000 chevy cavalier 4 cylinder was drivin fine pulled into parkin spot car started to shake then died will not stay runnin now. Any ideas??

take off the hose that goes to the throttle body and spray throttle body cleaner in it.it is basically a type of fuel, and if there is a fuel problem, the car will run.scan it for codes, and history codes and see if there is a code for the air flow meter.

Tps sensor on a 2002 chevy cavalier

Find where the throttle cable goes the the throttle body. Now on the opposite side of the throttle body is the TPS 3 wires/plug.

I have an 88 chevy truck, not getting fuel out of inector

I had a similar problem on an 84 Lincoln Mark VII. Found out it was a ground wire that had broken running from the wiring harness to the fender well. The wire was broken inside the shielding and not visible. You might consider going through and checking all of the plug connections for corrosion as well. This may not solve the problem but certainly easy to check.

Car stalls when i stop

it sounds like a low idle either caused by poor adjustment or a dirty throttle body. clean the carbon out of the throttle body. if that does not work bring the revs up with the idle screw

1988 oldsmobile cutlass ciera check engine light on then stalled.

Wow! thats verry low miles for an 88. Check the fuel pressure at the injector. If the pressure is low the filter could be clogged or the pump is not putting out enough pressure. Replace both if the pressure is not up to par. also check the fuel relays.
