Fiat brava 1.2 16v 1999, oil warning light wont go off ive changed sensor but it is still on. it has new oil and new filter
<grin> I don't know why or how this ended up under the category of Fiat 2006 X1/9 - I'd like to have one but I think I will have to be satisfied with my '87 Bertone instead-
I would highly recommend you have a shop replace the sensor (very soon!) with a pressure gauge to measure the pressure directly to make certain you aren't dealing with a failed or obstructed oil pump.
This will only take a few minutes and shouldn't cost much.
If your engine isn't clattering, I suspect the replacement sensor isn't any good either.
Remove your sump and clean your oil pick up pipe fiats are bad for blocking the steel mesh with oil crude
