I have a 1999 Honda Odyssey. The remote will not lock or open my doors. If I manually close the driver's door lock then I can set the alarm. Could it be the door actuator on the driver's door that is not working.
YES I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM I FIXED IT BY REMOVING DRIVERS DOOR PANEL AND FOUND ACTUATOR OUT OF LINE AND WIRE CONECTORS WERE BROKE I COULD NOT FIND REPLACEMENTS SO I USED WIRE ROPE GRIPS I ALSO FOUND LOOSE CONECTIONS IN WIRING I GOT CENTREL LOOKING WORKING AGAIN, HOPE THIS IS HELP.

It appears the driver's door lock controls everything with the remote. It won't open or close. If i manually open or close then the other locks work. I was thinking the actuator was bad and that it controls all the other locking mechanisms some how. then I can open when I'm in the car every lock except the driver door.
only the drivers door doesn't lock with remote?? a little confused here. are the batteries good in the remote?
