Blower motor on 96 Isuzu Rodeo does not blow on any speeds, fuse is good. I read if blower motor on works on high only it is resister, and if works on all speeds but high is relay.. so does blower motor need replaced?

If fuses are good, check for power at blower motor, when truck is running and a/c on. the resistor and the switch provide ground, so the blue/white wire should have power, and the blue/black wire should have NO power, if it does have power, then most likely the resistor is bad. if it has no power and the motor doesnt run, the motor is bad.

'94 Silverado heat/ac fan not blowing. Hear clicking when selecting l,m, and high but not blowing

94 CHEVY Silverado ????,heat/ac fan not blowing. K1500?????? Hear clicking when selecting l'm, SET high but not blowing! WITH AIR OR NO A/C? FIRST IS FUSES, MAKE SURE THE BLOWER FUSE IS NOT BLOWN.
EASY NO? CHECK ALL FUSES FIRST. ON ALL ELECTRICS FAILING OF ANY KIND.
BAD FUSE, BAD WIRINIG , BAD CONNECTIONS. OR EVEN BAD RELAYS TO THE BLOWER OR BAD SWITCH BLOW.
THE OLD CARS , HAD A SPEED BLOW , RESISTOR BLOCK
THAT FAILS ON ALL SPEEDS BUT HIGH, SO ITS NOT THAT.
OWN A VOLT METER????
HERE IT IS, ANY OF THIS CAN FAIL THIS OLD
WE USES A VOLTMETER TO FIND THE POINT OF FAILURE.
A SHORTED BLOWER MOTOR CAN BLOW LEFT SIDE TOP
FUSABLE LINK.RIGHT FUSE BLOWN MAKES THE CONTROLLER DEAD.

Where is heater resister in 96 rodeo

The resistor in within a couple of inches from the blower motor. Yours will have probably 4 wires going to it. It is mount to the air box.

My fan does not work on any of the four speed settings, i checked fuses and they are good, what else could be causing this problem?

usa car, not Holden made. my 2nd post here same car same issue.
heater blower, motor.
dead,
hot wire blower, work now?
got 12vdc to blower power pins on HIGH?
yes, no.
this is first way before ripping dash asunder...
the motor is DC, and not AC.

the job here is to see.
1: lost power, Fuse, wires. learn to use a voltmeter, its easy.
2: controls failing?
3: motor dead.
in that order. or waste 8hours, labor for nothing.

now ill read the schematic for you, on alldata.com
ok the real hit list not BS, or bsa

1: cb15 blown, marked, electr ig, in dash box.
2:EB16 main 100am fuse blown that feeds
3: A/C heater relay bad.
4: now the tricky part, isuzu BS to the max, the run 2 fuses in parallel now. here, called EB5 and 6 (EB= engine bay box)
then power goes to motor +
5:motor minus wire goes to the switch fuse. and on high goes to ground like a shot.
seen here. 5 fuses total, a world record for sorts.
warning it love to blow fuse 5 or 6, and if you try to run it on one fuse the other glow BAM pronto. real junk here... by isuzu.
15a + 15a fuse = 30amps this silly way, and issues.

25947762-cuce0wieux21mzdophu4q5ww-4-0.jpg got 12vdc to top pin on motor? above.
got 12vdc to bottom pin of motor if yes, the switch is failing
remove blower resist and check all paths for 0 ohms.
if not ,zero its bad and for sure that thermfuse there.

Subject: 2004 isuzu rodeo...my ac/heater blower is not working

The resistors are in circuit only on the lower fan speed settings.
On the highest speed setting, power is switched directly to the fan motor.
Check fan power supply fuses,
Check power is available to the fan when high speed selected.
If all above OK, apply power directly to the motor to verify fan motor runs- if it doesn't the motor may need replacement/repair.

Ac/heater blower motor issues

Replace the motor and resistor at the same time. A motor that has too much resistance will blow the resistor out every time. Been there done that. I've sold a lot of resistors and they had no warranty unless you replaced the motor too.

1997 isuzu rodeo problems with the blower motor and resistor how do you test them both

You can test the blower motor by connecting a positive and negetive wire directly to the 2 terminals on the motor.
As far as the resistor goes. If the blower motor only works on high fan speed then the resistor is bad. If it works on all speeds except high, then the relay is bad. Good luck. Hope this helps.
