Does it happen at miscellaneous times, or is it at specific times, i.e., when you hit a certain speed, etc? If it's intermittent, then you may need to replace or clean the switch for the door locks. If it's at a certain speed, then most Chevrolet cars and trucks past about 1998 or so will have an automatic locking device that keeps kids from escaping while the car's in motion. They can be programmed to actuate at different times, so you may want to look at your owner's manual to see how to set yours, if you feel that it could be this.

I have a 2005 cobalt every time I open the doors the alarm goes off I replaced the battery in keyless entry but they do not work can anyone help?

You may have accidentally broke the controller. They are fragile. The newer cars like yours automatically set the alarm when the doors are locked from keychain remote, or locking manually. New remote, $50-100.

CHevy cobalt door locks- lock and unlock while I am driving had key fob reprogrammed and it was ok for about two hours and started all over again. What can the problem be?

Could be a problem in the shiftier. Your car doors lock automatically when you put the car in drive. They unlock when you put the car in park. The switch located in the shiftier can go bad causing the locks to randomly lock and unlock. Also, this can cause the key to get stuck in the ignition.

Locks unlocking while driving.

Has the switches on your driver or passanger side gotten wet anytime lately? I had to replace the switch that you actually click to unlock and lock because it had gotten wet and my car would set it's alarm after waiting 30 seconds when you would try to open the door. Changing this is an easy and cheap fix. I hope it helps!
