I am looking for a wiring diagram for a 2000 Chevy Cavalier Z24...I believe I have a ground wire problem because the drivers side headlight is very dim (new bulb) and my stereo has been shutting off randomly and won't switch stations sometimes.

Spend 18 dollars and get a tear down manual at autozoe or advanced autoparts, or your local car store. i has awesomewiring diagrs in te back of the book.

try checking the ground wire on the frame next to the head light if you have a volt meter measure voltage on the hot side, if there is 12 volts then measure it on the ground side, is it lower than 12 volts? if it is you have bad ground strap follow the wire it will be near the radiator core support and sand it off if that does not help then it's in the light switch.
wow you need it too huh?i have a 1990 and needed it also..you would never guess where you can get it..and for FREE..your local library has every wiring diagram and fuse diagram you need in the reference section...
I have the diagram, brown wire is hot in run or start.It's controlled by a 25Amp fuse as a circuit breaker.It's been my experience that a broken wire in the wiring harness between the door and body is the usual cause of "intermittent control"of power windows.The colors of the motor wires are Dark Blue and Brown (drivers door),Light Blue and Tan for right side.If you have voltage at the motor and it doesn't work it might need replacement.Especially if your dome lights dim when you try to operate the window switch.The switches are disposable and not very serviceable.There are some tabs you can pry up to get to the inside of the switch,Warning: the contacts just lay there on pivots and will fall out if your not carefull.If you do open your switch and see any thing that's black or burned the switch is finished,and need replacement.Sorry I can't be of any more help!
