What is the easyist way to check a crank sesor and where is it located on a 2003 taurus

Easy and accurate way to check the crank sensor is to physically remove it from the vehicle and perform an ohm test on it also check for visible damage...cracks...etcit is located on the crankshaft which is the far bottom "pulley" on the left side of the pulley. you ill be looking on the pass side of the car in the engine compartment
