BMW 520d whirring noise when driving

Getting a whirring/light rumbling noise when driving my BMW 520d which you can't really hear at low speed but then gets noisier at 40 mph and above. I had a garage check the wheels for wear and tear but they said there wasn't any and they didn't know what it was.

1999 Lexus RX300 left rear wheel has a rumbling noise sounds like cv joint or bearing its all wheel drive.

Spin that wheel by hand as fast as you can. If you can hear the noise coming from right behind the tire it's probably a wheel bearing.

Car started to rumble while driving

a rumble is usually 1 of 2 things, tires or wheel bearing, you have to listen for when the noise occurs. is it at low speeds or high speeds, turning or going straight down the road. another thing you have to check are your tires, make sure you are rotating them at every other oil change. the lack of rotating tires can also have a rumbling affect but that usually dont happen unless it is really severe cupping going on with your tires.

So more than likely it is going to be a wheel bearing, but listen and pay attention to when the rumbling occurs make note of it and keep a record of when it happens, take it to the shop, let them know what you kept track of , so they can have a better understanding of the situation, but i will bet it is a wheel bearing. good luck and remember to give me a report

Power steering, there is an audible noise while turning, is it out of fluid or a problem with the power steering hose?

I have the same problem. I hear a whining/whirring noise when parked, turning either way, and even when driving at slow speeds. The noise gets worse when turning at slow speeds :(

Rumbling noise when in 2/3/4 gear

When you think the engine is really powerful even my dads one makes that sound. I think it's the parts like airbags, handbrake area which have degraded due to Aging.

BMW X3 noise problem

Do you hear some faint rumbling or moaning while going straight? Do you hear it louder in a right turn than a left (or vice versa)? If so, you likely have a wheel bearing problem. Let me know when/where you hear the noise, and we should be able to localize it.
