Looking for fuse box for cig.lghtr on 90 Lexus LS400

In the 2000 Sonata, the fuse panel will be in the drivers area under the console all the way to the left, mid way. Look for cigarette lighter or lghtr or something like that. If you can't find it, look under the hood in the engine compartment. There are fuses and relays there.

Normally this would be in your owners manual.
The power for the outlets may be on the same circuit with the horn.
On some models there is an accessory relay that handles the outlets.
There should be a 20amp fuse in the box in the engine compartment that feeds the circuit. You may have to check all of the 20amp fuses to find it.

some cig lighter outlets have a U shaped + center pin.
Sometime yer plug's - will engage it. ooops . Look for the two sides of the U and mark the edge of the outlet with red nail polish. Then when inserting the plug with a side pin, orient it away from the paint. Keep more fuses in the glove box

Blown cigarette lighter fuses are VERY common. There are several fuse boxes in your vehicle. You might not be looking in the right place.

There are actually 2 fuses for your power outlets. The first one (The one I think you are looking for) is a 15 Amp fuse and it is located in the drivers side junction block under the dash, It is marked "CIG".
The other is in the same junction block and is also a 15 Amp fuse. This one powers the two other power outlets in your vehicle. It is marked "Power Point". (See "Driver Side J/B" in graphic below)

The fuse you are looking for is in the underhood fuse box. its labeled CIG. A phone charger is the most common cause of the fuse blowing.

a defective outlet

it is most likely located in your fuse box. Look under the driver side of the dash board and there will be a black box pull the cover off and it will have a diagram on the back of it telling you where the fuse is for cig.lghtr.

LOOK FOR THE FUSE BOX IT WILL SAY [ CL ]for CIG LIGHTER FUSE MITE BE A 30 JUST LOOK FOR THE FUSE BOX OR SEE LEXUS DEALER IT AN 2007 MAYBE 35DOLLARS OR LOOK YOURSELF

CIG LTR Fuse 15 amp located in the under hood fuse box. Plus AUX PWR 1 fuse 20amp also located in the underhood fuse box.

The cig lighter and the aux outlets are on a seperate circuit.The aux is a yellow fuse in the engine compartment fuse box.
