The cruise control no longer works, however I am unable to find a fuse. It does not show in the maual how to fix it. Is the cruise control for my year and model a fuse or something else?

Sounds like the cruise control sensor electrical plug was not reconnected or the sensor was knocked out of alignment. The fuses will be in the fuse box and there is a sticker on the inside of the cover showing what fuses do. If that sticker is missing, there is a picture in the owners manual listing the fuses.
Yes there is a fuse that controls the cruise control, not sure where the fuse panel is, check your manuel.
If while doing the brakes if your repair man was under the hood doing work there, they may have knocked the vaccum line off that feeds the cruise control, check there.
Good luck
