Hi, my peugeot 307 hdi 2.0 79kw 2004, accelerate to slow, my mechanic said that additive pump is broken and when I fix it everything will be OK. True or false? Price for repair is 650 euros. Can You help me to find some cheaper solution, like different bread of pump or some other improvisation. Than You in advance.

Clean/Change air filter, fuel filter, air filter, turbo filter. Clean and check EGR valve and Turbo gate. Check the hdi fuel pressure. Open the injectors and clean it. Give it a try and may be you can save 600 euros.

My 307 hdi does not accelerate properly

The electrovalve that controls the turbo waste gate needs to be changed it costs around £40. It is located on the front lower part of the engine block. I have done lots of them they are a common fault after about 50000 miles.

"when do i change the cam belt on a peugeot 307 sw diesel"

usually you should do it for peugeot diesel at 122000 miles along with water pump and the tensioner roller that runs under the cambelt too. But to be on the safe side do it at 100000 and save the fortune.
It took me (DIY job) about 6-8 hours as i wanted to save 450 pounds.
