Anyone know how to program an additional key fob for the 2006 Honda Ridgeline? I've heard both sides; that it's something to be done at the dealer, and something you can do yourself. I had the key cut by a Honda dealer, and the immobilizer programmed, starts fine, but the keyless entry fob does not operate.
If it is a factory keyless system than you do need it done by the dealer, but if it is an after market system then reply back with manufacture and model.
Don't be fooled here! This ONLY programs the FOB. Your key will NOT work to start the vehicle without the dealers program using a Honda Programming Pad plugged in to you cars electrical. If you try too many times to start with a faulty key ALL keys will be locked out.....You been Warned
