Hi,

Use the numbered buttons on the radio to enter the code, then change the station to activate it. On few of the old models, we have to pull the radio out, hook up a tool to the rear and play with the buttons and activate it.

Let me know, if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I just put a new battery in my 1993 mercedes 400e and now it will not turn over at all, everything else electrical works lights horn etc.

Ignition switch is normally biggest culprit or the lower engine wiring harness needs replaced. May be starter has gone bad also.

I have a 5 digit code and cannot find the code,

You could if it is written there as usually you can find the serial number. But if you do take the radio out , you could get the code from any radio repair shop.

I need to know how to remove the radio form a

Remove center glove box if applicable, remove shifter ring from wood, remove center console wood (2 screws and pull up off the switches and pull out), remove ash tray (2 screws), pull face off of unit by reaching in tape deck area and pull, around the deck you should see a couple of plastic clips push on those and pull the unit out.

Where is the heater blower motor located on a 1991 mercedes benz 190e 2.3

It's in in the space behind the radio but you can only get to it by taking the entire dash apaet a big PIA job not for the faint of heart and should not be attempted without the shop manual. (don't ask how i know that!!)

Lost radio code

The only place to find out about that is the Mercedes dealer. I might charge you some money to do that.
