I have reconnected battery while replacing the head lamp for 2006 Honda accord EX V6. I have VIN number and radio sl. number. However, i don't have the code. Honda website wants the phone number or e-mail...

Take your title and registration to a Honda dealership, along with the radio serial and they can give you the code. The reg. and title is to prove you currently own the vehicle.

Is there a code needed for the radio when you replace your battery in a 2006 honda accord SE?

yes there is, that code should have been supplied with the owners manual, it is unique to each radio and car serial number, u will need to see the dealer about getting that number from GM
