Car window goes down but roof not comeing down.

These kinds of problems on power roofs are common and most always caused by worn parts, what parts requires a teardown and inspection, an all day job for even an experienced pro. My advice is get it down and leave it down.

Do you have to roll the windows down first? There are certain conditions that have to be met, I think its trying to tell you something.

Once source of leaks is the rubber tube that runs from the roof line to the rear hatch, and contains the rego plate light, rear window heater and locking circuits. Look at the seals under the hatch hinges. If there's nothing obvious, pull some of the internal headers to see where the water is coming from. May still be the moon roof. Water will run down any available slope.

I would try a new relay anyway sometimes they will route the circuit through different points of the relay. I also would check the up/down switch itself to make sure it is working on both sides I had the same problem on a window switch for a car I was working on. Just because one side of the switch works doesn't mean the other side does. If the relay and switch are both good then I would switch the wires on the up/down switch to see if it functions then you are basically checking the continuity of the switch again but this time you will be able to tell if the switch is able to handle the amperage also required to operate the motor. You can read 12 volts

Bad all window switch, for front window something came loose or broke possible bad motor gear

change the wire leeds around

Your windows are controlled through a body module called a "BCM", it can be tested by the dealer to see what the problem is, at this point that is what you need to do.

check connections. run 12v to motor. check switch. In that order.

7 blinks (roof lock switch,not operated by user)
9 blinks (rear window switch not operated by user)
These codes mean user has not undone roof locks or rear window is not fully closed
Providing that is not your problem,reset roof control unit
Turn ignition off
In under bonnet fuse box remove fuse 32 7.5 amp for 20 seconds
Refit fuse and check roof operation
This clears codes and resets roof

Hi I have the same problem on my 1999 Carrea, I had the windows at the rear stuck down and the roof latch keeps open and closing, I have not solved this yet it could be a relay but it all started when I was opening and closing on the keypad, if you get the roof up and cant get the rear windows to close get the roof closed to a locking position and where the hood lock pulls back at the roof lock station slide a thin s crew driver up the side of the lock hook they close then, also a tip, if you stick your little finger in the hole where the hood lock goes and press both the rear window buttons up they close when the roof is down. if anyone knows why my hood wont lock please let me know
