Tiburon 2005 SE 6 cly. I've replaced the TPS 3

Tiburon 2005 SE 6 cly. I've replaced the ThrottlePositionSensor 3 times already, and within 2 weeks it breaks again. What is making this sensor go off?

No other codes come up in the computer. Usually only when the engine light is on, is when I have troubles.

Now, with service light off, car stalls out every 2 minutes, burning smell, hesitates and bucks on takeoff/driving. I dont want to replace the TPS again, because I know it will break. I have to find the real problem!

Please help, is there anyone else w/this issue?

Thanks - Catie

How does it break???? it must not be installed properly, what happened to the first one??? theres no reason one should break??? I think a qualified repair shop should look at it and determine what is wrong before you spend any more money on a TPS.

I have a 2005 hyandai tiburon gt/se and I need the oxygen sensor replaced. Where are they located?

Oxygen sensors are usually located in the exhaust system. Assuming yours has the V6 engine you have 4 fitted. They are labelled in the attached photo.

94 Jeep Cherokee TPS - back feed

You are still getting high or low voltage at tps? What is the voltage and do you have a unstable idle? Put you + lead on terminal 3 and - lead on terminal 1 turn ignition on and check voltage to be at approximately 5 volts. You can also back probe with it connected at center wire and ground probe to a good ground at engine. Turn ignition on it should read between 0.20 - 0.90 slowly manually open throttle it should rise all the way to 4.5 voltd at full open. If its bad change tps if no 5.0 volts from pcm on first test check connections at pcm. The center tps connector supply wire comes from pin 22 and connection 3 ( which is 5 volt supply ) comes from pin 6. You should be able to back probe pin 6 turn ignition on and have 5 volts. If not 5 v brain has problem.

I've changed my engine mounts 3 times on my 2004 A4 cabreolet and they fail within miles(start to vibrate & then within a week, severe knocking) the 2nd time, also changed the ****** mount, 3r

Engine mounts do not go bad in five miles. Sounds like you're treating a symptom and not the cause of a more serious issue. Are you sure all cylinders are firing correctly? That the severe knocking is not coming from your engine internals? Have you checked the steel around the engine mounting points for cracks or other damage? And just in case, if the mounts you are using are poly, are you lubing them before installation?

Hi.. 1.. the car when idling..as soon as I put my foot on the gas it stops.. 2. It's very hard on gas.. 3. when the engine gets hot, it just stops.. Thank you for your time and I do appreicate some...

Have the catalytic converter tested at your local Muffler Shop...This should be a free test...A clogged converter can cause all 3 of your problems...Hope this helps.
