2007 Pacifica, leaking coolant and making a horrible noise! Just started right after I had the brakes and tires checked. There was no reason for this, not trauma to the car. Just leaking coolant and a noise all of a sudden! Please help!
I need a lot more information to work on this, as i carnt see why the brakes or the tyres checked can do any thing Unless the brakes are binding up (so put in nutral and see if you can push it ) is it ok.
Where is the coolant leaking from.. ie.. Radiator or engine either side
or Radiator header tank ,,Is the water coming out as soon as you fill or start engine ./..after a run./..Does the radiator get hot at the bottom or the top / when it starts loosing coolant ????????
I must know all the above to help you fix this problem so let me know A.S.A.P RonI need a lot more information to work on this, as i carnt see why the brakes or the tyres checked can do any thing Unless the brakes are binding up (so put in nutral and see if you can push it ) is it ok.

Are you sure its the hose if so the are clamped on with ether spring loaded clamps which should be replaced with ones that are able to be tightened but check for radiator leak or if not sure also check water pump
My esp light, all wheel drive light, traction light and abs lights have come on & won't go off. Tried everything I could think of. Tires are new, brakes are a little over 2 years old. Recently tires rotated. Maintenance done regularly . Whats wrong?
have the front suspension checked, in particular ball joints, tie rod ends and the steering parts. if that is a 4 wheel drive it is a distinct possiblilty that one of the cv (constant velocity) joints has failed. does it sound like a clicking sound or a chattering sound (like when the abs goes on)
You didn't say what the shop checked so I may be repeating something they already looked at. Check the brake caliper and I would also drain the old brake fluid and put in new fluid. You didn't mention if it was making any noise when this happens so I'll assume it's not a problem with your wheel bearings.
Brake -transmission interlock system. Solenoid faulty or out of adjustment.
The air swishing sound is probably just your brake pads getting worn down, or some dirt in them. If they aren't sqeeking when you touch the brake, you're okay, or it might have been air coming out of your tire! There isn't much weight on the rear, so it's harder to notice a low tire. Better check it.
The tire noise will be due to the car needing a wheel alignment, just take it down to your local tyre dealer and they will check it for you if you are not sure.
As for the burning smell, if it's coming from the engine it could be a simple oil leak leaking onto the exhaust or could be more serious like worn rings or valve guides.
have the tires checked and balanced .check to make sure that your tires are good condition and the plies that made the tires are not seperating. this happens on some tires that have been on the car for a while. The brake system is a sealed system so either your brakes are low or you have a leak in the system
