This is caused by a blend door actuator on the rear a/c unit. There are 2 located on the case. Take it to a dealer and they will know what you are talking about.

2010 Lincoln navigator. Ticking from passenger side fuse box under dash. Removed wiring harness and it stopped. How do I figure out which wire and fix it

It could be a relay fuse sticking as well....
I have a 2008 lincoln navigator and had the same ticking noise coming from under passenger side dash and it was my fan blower that was causing the noise once I replaced it ....it stopped

Where in the passenger compartment is the fuse box located on a 2001 lincoln navigator

Check at the foot of driver side. On newer models check passenger side. You should find a rectangular panel in the right corner. Remove it to find the fuse box.

There should also be an additional fuse panel located on the drivers side under the hood, in the engine compartment.

My 2004 Lincoln Navigator has a DVD player near the passenger side but It doesn't have a monitor. What is the DVD player for.?

Is the DVD slot in the dash board or in the second row? Does it appear to be factory installed or possibly aftermarket? If factory and in the front, I'd suspect it's for loading navigation system updates. Does your Navigator have factory navigation?

I own a 2003 lincoln navigator. I have a problem sometimes where I go to start my truck and all I hear is a buzzing noise coming from my fuse box on the passenger side of the truck by the passengers feet....

Its the relay in the fuse box by the passenger side floor board. Remove the kick plate and its either white relay on the top (one is mounted horizontal on the right or rear position and vertical on the front or left. Its $6 bucks at Auto zone. You can switch both of them around and the truck will start and run till you get the replacement. Steve

2003 Navigator, the air or heat does not blow in rear section. All I hear is a clicking.

I assume your talking 3rd row seating A/C, Have the same car and had same problem. Unless you use 3rd row much, unplug it ( under passenger side wheel hump pocket ) this will stop the clicking and has no effect on A/C cooling front & middle row in Florida heat. There are actually 2 plugs, do both. Not the best, but the easiest & cheapest.

The rear a/c is making a clicking sound/2003 Lincoln Navigator

you have a bad blend door actuator the clicking sound you hear is the plastic gears inside it slipping the panels covering rear unit can be removed once removed cut a/c on once clicking starts you should be able to tell which one it is they are about the size of a cell phone usually twoo or three screws holding on to air box and one small electrical connector remove and call ford dealership with part# listed on the actuator and purchase new one these are not available aftermarket that i know of

Rear air conditioner pump

there is no separate pump for the rear a/c. front & rear operate from the same a/c compressor in the engine cmpartment.
There may be a blower motor back there.

Engine noise

You have the 5.4 3 valve engine in your Navigator, Ford has had various problems with noise from this motor. The cost of repair will vary because this noise cam come from different places, such as cam phasers, valve lash adjusters and sometimes the ticking noise is actually coming from the injectors which is considered normal. I would have it checked out by the dealer. -Jared
