The exclamation point means VERY low tire pressure... one of your tires is extremely under-inflated and you should not be driving on it. Could be flat.

That is your TPMS-tire pressure monitoring system, it is telling you that a tire on your vehicle is low. You will need to inflate the tire to the manufacturer's specifications and once you have done that the light will automatically go off in a mile or so.
Ironically I had the "!" inside the "U" come on this morning as well in my 2007 M35x. Oddly this is indicating that you have low tire pressure. I suspect this is happening due to the temperature change. At least for me as I live in New England and it was very cold this morning.
