1995 Ford Explorer - Eddie Bauer edition - 145,000 miles When I turn on the heat or AC there is a groaning noise - sounds abit like "clanging". The AC was charged last summer and cooled for a short period of time then did not cool any more. Took it in and the freon was gone but nothing showed on the diagnostics. It was charged again. Did not show a leak. However within a few weeks no cooling. The heater will not hold a constant temp. It will switch to cold or keep getting hotter and hotter. As of yesterday, the auto temp no longer works and the fan will only work on high. Suggestions.

Sounds like the control module for the automatic climate control could be bad.

I have a 1998 Foed Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition, I've recharged the ac (store bought) but still there's no cold air. What else could be the problem?

you need to put gauges on it and see what the pressures are to see if the compressor is working while your waiting for that is the compressor running? is the large ac pipe cold?is the smaller pipe hot?

How often do I need to get my oil changed in my 2007 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer?

Well, that is a matter of opinion. I really prefer every 2500 miles. Your oil becomes contaminated unless FULLY heated up on every use. Oil can last a really long time, but failure in the oiling costs soooo much to repair, I just change more often. Perhaps costs less than a shrink....

It should be located on the door side of the seat. look for the button with the indicator light. When it's lit, the seat heat is on... give it a little time to heat up.
