Either your "double-crossover flow" radiator is plugged or if you have excessive pressure when you remove radiator cap its got a bad head gasket, then start checking your oil for signs of milky looking oil and foaminess then you got BIG troubles ahead

Thermastat and water pump changed but still overheating. why?

Could be a few things. Blockage in the radiator, blown headgasket, bad fan. Need to check for those or get a shop to have a look.

IS IT ? What is the water temp and do you have good coolant flow. You may have thrown parts at it,when only the temp switch was bad?

The temp gauge is showing that our 2004 Avalanche is overheating and we have replaced the water pump, thermastat and coolant senor and it still shows to be overheating....what else is there to do?

Is the radiator clean and flowing coolant? Why was the water pump replaced? What was the condition of the old coolant? If the engine is HOT the air coming through the radiator should also be HOT, if its not, the radiator has blockage and will need to be removed and cleaned.
