Your going to have to remove motor mount bolts and jack motor up in order to get pan off. also after pan is hanging reach inside and unbolt oil pump and pick up screen to get enough roomto remove, hope this helps.

YOU NEED A REPAIR MANUAL.BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO REMOVE A LOT OF THINGS TO GET THE OIL PAN OFF.YOU ALSO NEED A ENGINE LIFT TO SUPPORT ENGINE WHEN REMOVING OIL PAN.ALSO YOU WILL NEED 2 JACK STANDS.TO SUPPORT VECHICLE.

Need to take rear driveline out of 1998 chevy blazer

By removing the drive line you may move the car but it will lock up on you at some point,, the rear end, wheel bearing or broken axel will cause more damage, just tear into it and fix the problem before it causes you more trouble.....Hope that helps...

do u have a lever control on floor if yes check adjustment of linkage if u have the dash switches check fuse and relay than check actuator for proper movement at transfer case actuator has a tendency to stick lube and or adjust

1998 Chevy Blazer 4x4, $ wheel drive won't work (both 4hi & 4lo )

Reset the computer by disconnecting the battery. This should solve this. nutetral is for the four lo only to engage.

you have to remove motor mount bolts.... with engine hoist lift engine to get clearance to remove oil pan......you have to remove starter... trans cover ....... sounds like a easy job its not....hopethis helps
