Saturn L300 has sunroof. When it rains, it has always dripped, like 1 or 2 drips. The drips only happen while I am driving in the rain, doesn't happen so much when not moving. I called my local Saturn, person I talked to said they've had problems with some channels getting clogged and that causes water to back-uup into the car. When I took the car, another person was working and said I didn't know what I was talking about. Then my windsheild cracked and had to be replaced, now the leaking is worse. During a very hard rain, my feet and my passengers feet are soaked. I need to take it to a shop (not a Saturn, not worth it). I'd like to help the mechanic pinpoint the problem. I'm going to end up with a rotted floor.
1st the sunroof leak- there is some type of channel/drain to direct water out of the sunroof area. Open the sunroof and look around the outer inside area for evidence of junk blocking the channel/drain, such as leaves, dirt, pine needles, etc. and clean out with a vacuum and toothpicks (to dislodge). If you can find a drain tube in a channel (it should direct water to the underside of the car), the easiest way to clear it is with compressed air. 2nd Since this is much worse since the windshield was replaced, I am thinking that it was not installed and sealed properly. So, first try to clean the channels and any drain tube(s). Next, with a hose, spray the windshield only, not the sunroof, and see if it leaks at your feet in the front seating area. If it does, the windshield install is to blame for the leak there.

Drip from where? If water is getting to your floorboard, and if you've ruled out a stopped up air conditioner drain, then it has to be coming in from either the firewall or the underside of the vehicle - especially if you're sure it only happens when it rains.
The most common source of water on the floor is a plugged a/c evaporator case drain hose. This drain is generally located down low on the engine side of the firewall at the passenger side and is usually a small short open ended hose that points down. Debris and bugs will clog this hose which makes the water that condenses on the evaporator [whenever the a/c is on] overflow and leak out of the heater/air conditioning housing and onto the floor. If it hasn't rained for some time yet you are still getting water on the floor I would bet on this hose being plugged. A puff of compressed air is enough to clean most of them out. Most sunroofs have one or two small drain holes that allow water to run down through the door pillars and onto the ground. If you pour a small amount of water around the top edges of the sunroof when it is closed you should soon see water dripping onto the ground under the outer edge of the vehicle. A few sunroofs just rely on tight weather stripping to keep the water out but those usually drip water on the driver or passenger if they are leaking. I see a lot of leaky windshields but again, it has to be raining for water to get on the floor from them.
there may be some body rust around the window seal or in the air intake area, depending on your climate, condensation can sometimes drip of the AC system onto your feet
