Need a wiring diagram for a 1988 Dodge D100 4x4 pickup with a 318 motor. Think the wiring is bad for the fuel injection - nor harness. All wired direct.

I have a 89 dodge ramcharger with the same throttlebody 318 it had the same exact problem ecxept worse. all I had to do to fix it was pick up a rebuild kit (bout 20 bucks, not including injecters) and clean the **** out of it. runs great now. I would also recommend new plugs and wires but prolly not neccesary
Just a note on the fuel. Make sure you allow the fuel to return to the tank after you pull it out and regulate it at the carb. The injection style electric pump should not be dead head regulated. It is designed to flow continuously for cooling. I can get you diagrams, but all you need is ignition and choke power which already there at the coil so that should be pretty straight forward. The rest can just be removed and tied off. Which system did you want?
I would check the wires that make the injector function to see how much power is going to them (using a multimeter). Now check the wires on the injector that is not working and see if you have power there. If you do then you have a bad injector. I don't think you do since you said that you switch wires and you are getting fuel at that injector. Check your wiring harness for shorted out wires. It doesn't make sense for one side to be working and the other not to be. I don't think it is a problem with your ECU, but it may be. See what colors the wires are going to your injectors and trace them back to the ECU, a wiring diagram would help. You need to check to see if you are getting power from the control module to the harness. I believe, however, you are experience a shorted out wire somewhere in the harness. That is where I would start. If you confirm you are getting power to the control module, but you are losing it somewhere in the harness it may be easier to just run a new set of wires instead of tearing apart the harness.
Why not eBay? you may be able to find a "lightly" used harness from an appropriate dodge or Chrysler product that uses your engines?
