A friend of my son's hooked the jumper cables up wrong on my son's nissan 2002 Xterra. The 100 amp battery fuse blew but welded itself in the fuse box. We tried getting it out and eventually broke the plastic away which left only the long copper plugs. Tried needlenose pliers to pull but it just breaks. How hard is it to replace the whole fuse box?

1. First check the alternator maybe you need to replace it.
2. The horn honks when you turn the steering wheel because the wire inside the steering wheel is not fix.
3. Visit a good mechanic and good electrician to check the alternator and the wirings.

I had to go in through the bottom on the front side of the radiator to force the rotating lock open enough to get the hood to pop and then I could open it up completely. No real good way to do it that I can see beyond that...it was a pain, but I got.
