Car takes a long time to start up when it does start it cuts off like its off of gas. Then after letting it set it starts up. The needle jumps until the car starts to run right and it sometimes jerks when pulling off from starting up. Had cam sensors, crank shaft, and spark plugs changed but still does it. I need help

Sounds like the sending unit has an intermittent short to ground. Unhook the the wire from the sending unit, and see if the needle stops jumping around. If it quits jumping around, replace the sending unit. If it still jumps around, you have a bare spot somewhere on the wire and it is hitting ground which will cause the needle to jump. Cut out the bad part of the wire and splice in a new section. That should fix it.
It's not likely to be your catylitic converter it's more likely your fuel pump is going bad or you have some damaged wiring to the fuel pump. If by chance you recently had it changed the ground probably didn't get connected right.
Your problem is either the Alternator isent charging its 13.5 volts and the battery is flat or wont hold the charge SO do this.
Jump start engine again let it run for 2 minutes then turn on lights,, the head lights should go bright at 13.5 volts. it engine cuts out..and the lights dont go bright,, then the Alternator is not charging,,,, If they go bright and still cuts out the batterys NO GOOD.
Replace battery or get it checked outit must hold 12volts all the time Let me know how you get on.
This could be any number of things, check all of your belts and make sure they are there. Do a visual inspection of the wires under the hood and make sure none look burned. The last thing to check would be the timing belt on the car under the cover behind the rest of the belts. If this has stripped the car could have jumped time and will not let the car run and could cause more damage the more you try to run it.
Just try to keep the gas and drive for at leat 15 min HWY if possible. Yes, it will turn off if you let go the gas, but it will restart and stay on as long as you press on gas. Just keep on driving and the computer will readjust the emission inputs and will get back to normal.
If by "trying to start" you mean that the engine is turning then it
isn't the starter that's bad as a couple have said. The starter's sole
purpose is to spin the engine so it can start if, gas, spark,
compression and timing are correct. If any one of those four are not
available the starter can spin the engine until the battery dies and it
won't start. If you don't know how to check for proper delivery of
fuel, spark, timing and compression then I'd suggest taking it to a
reliable mechanic.
