It sounds to me like you replaced everything but the most likely cause of a stall while driving...The crank sensor.

I don't know who at "Ford" would have told you that!

Here is the description straight out of the "Ford" service manual for your car:

    Crankshaft Position Sensor

The ignition system utilizes a Hall Effect Sensor to provide crankshaft position, base timing and engine speed information to the Ignition Control Module (ICM ). The ICM supplies this information to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM ) as the Profile Ignition Pickup (PIP ) signal. The PCM uses this information for fuel injector timing and calculating ignition timing advance and dwell.

    CONSTRUCTION
The sensor is located within the distributor and is comprised of a hall effect switch and a camshaft driven 4 bladed shutter plate.

    OPERATION
Each blade on the shutter plate corresponds to a separate position on the crankshaft. As the shutter plate passes through the hall effect switch the output of the sensor alternates from 0.0 to 12.0 volts in a square wave pattern. This output is sent to the ICM where it is converted to the PIP signal.

As it says under "Construcion" in the information I sent earlier, the Crank Sensor is actually located inside the distributor. (Under the rotor) It gets quite involved trying to change the sensor itself as the distributor must be competely disassembled to gain access to it. (I'm not sure if the sensor is even available by itself anymore..I would have to do some checking) Your best bet is to locate a "Remanufactured" distributor and replace the whole thing as a unit.

1994 Mercury Topaz 4 cylinder. Why is it running roughly?

The main thing is to read that check engine light code. That will give you the answer, but maybe incorrect firing order is causing it?

https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me

So check on the firing order FIRST. When changing the distributor cap, you should do one wire at a time off the old one. Same for replacing spark plugs, do one at a time. Having one lead in the wrong place is a sure fire way to get real real rough running.

Problem with 2004 mercury mountaineer

You engine needs three basic things to operate correctly Air,Fuel and ignition.Lets start with Air.check the air filter to see if it is dirty if so, replace filter and see if that solves the problem. Fuel.replace the fuel filter see if that solves the problem.Ignition. this gets complicated fast.Start with spark plugs, then spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor( if equipped).newer vehicles have coil packs and are computer controlled. A service professional is probably needed at this point.
Hope this helps.

How do i replace distributor pickup assembly is a distributor on a 93 mercury topaz

Yes you would remove the distributor and then remove the center shaft.
If you do it be sure and mark the position of the distributor before you take it out of the engine.

I have a 1990 mitsubishi might max it wont run smooth unless you keep your foot on the gas and keep the rpms up a little bit and it wont drive cause it stalls everytime you try to move it. ive replaced the...

You've already eliminated the spark plug & wireset, distributor cap & rotor.
Sounds like your car needs a tune-up, specifically, the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve, and/of the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve.

Components checked/replaced during a tune-up are:
air filter
motor oil
motor oil filter
breather filter
fuel filter(s)
fuel strainer
PCV valve
EGR valve
spark plugs
spark plug wires
ECM or distributor cap & rotor
cabin air filter
transmission oil filter
transmission oil
engine coolant
check all vacuum hoses and lines

Troubleshooting the no-start condition - from the 1990 Mitsu Mighty Max Repair Manual:

Priority Action Part Type -- Cause
1 Inspect Battery -- Battery Discharged or Faulty.
2 Inspect Battery Cable -- Corroded, Broken, Shorted or Poorly Connected Battery Cable.
3 Inspect Distributor Cap -- Distributor Cap Cracked or Burned.

How do i replace the distributor on a 93 mercury topaz

the distributor is held by a clamp bolted to the block where the 'stem' enters the block.remove cap and mark position of rotor to ensure proper ignition timing upon re-assembly,note firing order of plugs.if a 'no spark condition exists, check 'pick-up module 'bolted to the side of distributor, below cap,a hex head 'special tool' is available to remove module w/ distributor in place. these modules are only rated for 50K miles.
