Replace the passanger side mirror on a 2004 ford

You named your rear view mirror 'Reginald'?

The mirror is affixed dead centre and about an inch down from the top.

Need to pull mirror or replace side view mirror select switch

just pull it off, its held on with a plastic ring that is just a click fit..you do know that you can buy just the mirror and it sticks on over the broken glass,costs $9.......

if by "fix" you mean "replace".
pry off the plastic cover for the mirror bolts. its on the inside of the door infront of the side window.

also remove the plastic door panel.

unplug the mirror from the wiring harness.

remove the 3 "10mm" nuts inside the holes under the mirror mount cover for the mirror mount. support mirror while removing the last nut.

installation is the rev of removal

By using this diagram, just remove the interior cover by the #1 in the diagram and then unplug the connector and the rest is straight forward.

There is a fuel reset button on the passanger side under the glove box to the right just above the right panel you can check.

go to the ford dealer or a salvage yard and but one. It's about 3 bolts and a wire plug.

The one with the turnsignal intergrated into it?

If so.....

Push the Mirror FORWARD, up close to the pivot poit there is a small torx head screw - unscrew that.
At the tapered end carefully pull/pry down. That end has a small metal spring clip that holds it up, be careful with it, if it snaps, you can NOT by a new one...

very easy take the mirror inside cap off if you can not get to the 3 bolts then you will have to take trim panel off to take trim panel off look for plastic caps take them out and unscrew them then pop out the bottom of the door and pop the sides out then lift up and out should be loose enough for the bolts now/ 10mm bolts 3 Please rate my response thank you very much

take the interior door panel off and unbolt from inside.
