On an Eldorado, 1995 model. Battery drains slowly over a matter of about 20 hours, if car is not started. Was told that it could be one of the many fuses. How long should it take to find and fix the problem? The Battery is brand new, as is the engine., and altenator.

The battery discharge rate must be checked along with the charging current to confirm the working of the alternator.

had the same type problem with van that had security system on it.. even if not armed it would drain battery if not driven at least once a week. this might be same type of problem.
sounds like you have a short somewhere if it sits for a few days does it loose power and not want to start? if you start it every day (or once every 12 hours and let it run for about 20 min) is there no problem?? if so you probably have a short somewhere that is draining the battery slowly
I have a 1994 Cadillac Eldorado and every time i start it the car has rough Idle and the Idle fluctuate's. I also can feel it in the gas pedal when the car is doing this I tried replacing the throttle body sensor but it still does it I also was told it was the Idle error sensor. So instead of spending the unecessary money again I thought I would go online and see if anyone could help me with this problem.
