In Europe, It was around 1975 that all risky, projecting objects, including the famous Jaguar 'leaping cat' bonnet mascot (US: 'hood ornament'), were banned from all vehicles sold in Europe because of the potentially deadly harm they could do to pedestrians. In the US, the company decided to eliminate it, I think it was 2007, now it is an option, you have to pay extra if you want it. Please see Newsweek article www.newsweek.com/id/154835

Suzuki Grand Vitara 2007 - Efficiency low on bank 1 engine light. is it just the sensor or do i need a new cat? is this common?

Is the code P420 ? Is there an exhaust leak in front of cat? If not you need a new cat. Recommend one from Suzuki. cheap ones don't last more than a year or so. If it was a sensor you would have a different code. Can only be bad cat or exhaust leak before cat allowing fresh air to be pulled in.
