Check your ECM codes. A code P0328 means your knock sensor has stored a code. Apparently when this code is stored it does not change much on a non-supercharged 3.3L engine but does on a supercharged one.

I'm going to try using the recommended higher octane in my 2003 supercharged 3.3L Frontier and see if the code disappears. If not, I plan to relocate the knock sensor to a more wrench-friendly area.

At what milage should a timing belt be changed on a 2002 Nissian frontier crew cab?

60-80,000 miles is a great benchmark for ANY vehicle. nissan recomends 105,000 miles which seems a little excessive to me. be careful because this engine is listed as an interference motor and WILL cause internal engine damage if it was to break.

Would a cracked exhaust manifold on a 2002 nissan frontier 3.3 supercharged cause poor fuel milage

yes it could.... check the oil for traces of foaming...that would indicate water leaking via a crack.
Also check for oil in the water reservoir.... sign of cracked head also...

Terrible gas milage not stuck in 4x4 3.3 supercharged

Defective 02 sensors will enrich the fuel and cause the waste. Supercharged the sensors are probably reading lean exhaust and screaming for mor fuel when it isn't needed. Good Luck, Ned-

How do I replace the thermostat on my 2002 Nissian Frontier

Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. Remove the hose. There are 3 bolts holding the thermostat housing in place, remove them. Remove the thermostat and clean all surfaces. Install new thermostat. Apply a thin amount of gray silicone sealer to the thermostat housing. Install housing and retaining bolts. Install hose and secure. Add coolant and check for leaks.
