My 97 Es 300 shuts everything off when making right hand turn. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Assuming you have a left-hand drive Lexus ES 300...

According to the component manual, the Audio amplifier appears to be located under the front passenger seat.

locate the fuse from the fuse box and replace it with exact fuse. it would help

yes the key could be your whole problem. replace the key, have it programmed properly and i think you'll be fine.

turn on ac and see if fans come on ,,see if fans or fan kicks into high after a little while ,look for reason why fans or fans do not run with ac on they have to run ,relay? or high side switch check preasures on ac ,low side and high,high side may be to high for fans or fan to cool down ,,ac problem or to much freon,,,radiator new?

- Place each hand against both sides of the plastic housing, and firmly grasp and pull the housing towards you. It might not budge at first, but it should move once you get a good grip on it.

- Pull the housing out just enough so that you can see the brake light bulb and stick your hand underneath. Ignore the speaker wires.

- Pull out the old bulb from the socket (it plugs in/out). Wear rubber gloves when handling the new bulb, and put the new one into the socket.

Asked a local independent Toyota/Lexus repair shop.

He suggested checking battery cables at both ends to assure tight fit.

Positive cable was ever so slightly loose.

Tightened all cables. Will see if that solves problem.

its very possible. there are "equip delete" packages processed with many different makes and models.

on the other hand, if you bought it used, someone may have very well taken it out.

sorry not much more help than that, but you should be able to talk to a service advisor at Lexus and get a build sheet for your car. thats the ultimate answer to your problem!
