Is it hard to make it a turbo?

Hey
Im thinking of purchasing a 1800 legacy non-turbo wagon. Im going to get my brother who is a mechanic to look over it for me tomorrow. Looks like a good deal. Was wondering how hard it would be to put a turbo on the engien it has or am i better off buying another turbo?

I have a 92 legacy sedan with bad motor. Bought a 92 legacy wagon turbo. Do I have to change wire harness in front with computor, or can I change just computor?

hi im presuming your old car is non turbo if so you will have to change a lot of parts over to make it work, you will have to replace entire engine loom, the ecu will need changed over then the fuel pump and all of the fuel lines will need to be replaced with the bigger turbo model ones to keep up also the trans will bolt strait up but will be the major weak point so swap over if possible.

My car is kind of getting wrecked. I dont know if it is me or the mechanics i take it to. i spent $500 for them to fix some leakish or overheating problem. after i got it back my pwer steering was too hard...

to be honest, ide take it to another garage, getting another car i think sounds more expencive than getting the work done, but deppends on what other car you are going to get, so realy, it would be up to you...hope that helps

HOW TO REPLACE THE TIMING BELT, TENSIONER, WATERPUMP, AND CRANK SEAL AND REFILL SYTEM WITH COOLENT ON A 2005 SUBARU LEGACY 2.5I non-turbo and non-GT wagon.

Hi,
WOW... It'd take a book's worth of instructions on here to answer your question. Which is why I would recommend that you purchase a repair manual specific to your model. It should give you all the info you need for these jobs and for future jobs as well. I always buy one for each vehicle that I plan to keep a while... they aren't that expensive and really pay for themselves in the long haul.
Hope this helps... Good luck with your project!

Is there a timing belt or chain in a 2004 Subaru Outback wagon? If it is a belt, at what mileage should it be changed?

The 2.5L engine has a timing belt and it should be replaced at 105K. The 3.0L engines have a timing chain and are not serviced regularly.

Button on console and power button

The power button extends the time in each gear, the other button I think your describing juts up vertically in front of the AT selector. if you press this down you'll find that you can move the selector without having the ignition key in, it's a get out of jail card really

Power windows stopped working in my 86 subaru gl wagon

There has to be a fuse related to the power windows, check the owners manual. it may reside in a secondary panel in the engine compartment.
