Hi just bought a Hyundai Lantra 92 gls 1.6lt and was running fine for about a week but started to sound a bit funny so i checked the spark plugs and the cylinder was pretty much full of oil in every single 1 is this normal or ? any feedback will be appreciated :)
IF PLUGS HAS OIL ON THEM.TIME FOR OVER HAUL.YOUR VALVE GUIDES WORN AND OIL CONTROL RINGS IS WORN.
This is not normal.Oil in the cylinder is an indication of worn valve guides or piston rings. To pin point the exact problem get a cylinder leakage test. It'll tell you where the oil is coming from.
Motor oil in the combustion chambers[where the spark plugs are] is NOT NORMAL it is evidence of failure of valve seals and/or worn piston rings, requiring major motor repair.try to return it & get your money back,or at least a credit towards repair.
