2004 saturn vue driver side heated seat stopped working and it is not the modual installed new one

A salvage yard would be a likely source of interchangeability information.

the windows are not on the same fuse, you need a new window regulator. find one new on eBay or a prts store and pay an auto glass shop to put it in. it is a common GM part, but will be very expensive aty a GM dealer.

the seat heater generally is not going to make it to ten years. it is the same technology as a toaster or electric blanket. either the heater element has burned through or the thermostat is AFU.

note the units which are used most frequently are usually the first to die. every part in that car is going to die from age or use. most likely someone could pull the thermostat out of the passenger seat, if so equipped, and put it in the driver seat. otherwise it is just not worth fixing the seat.

well, check all your fuses and circuit breakers,next would be to check the connection at the swith, cad use a test light and also check for power and a good ground at the motors,it unlikely that all postions would stop at once and it be a motor,if they all stopped then its gottta be a fuse or switch or wiring.

try swopping the feed wires around and run the passenger one over to teh drivers side

the seat heater element is bad,,the heated seat pad has a open, the wire burns a hold in it from wear and tear and then they dont work,its most likely the drivers side seat back,,,,

we have a 2003 saturn vue which we installed new tires on and we noticed a noise about 6 months afterwards. it sounded to my wife and i to be loud road noise from the tires. the car was driven for 6 months and we decided the noise was annoing. had the tires checked only to find it was the left front wheel bearing which was replaced and stopped the noise.

Push down on the seat then pull the handle or both at the same time then pull up while holding the release up, it got me at first, but thats how i got it

This is not un- common. The heating elements do wear after a while. It is probably an open circuit in one of the pads in your seat. A quick restance check can determine which one it is.
