Tire pressure light will not clear

You can try re-programming each Tire pressure monitor (TPM) using the procedure in the owners manual but I doubt that will fix it. The most likely problem is a faulty TPM which is no longer functioning and will need to be replaced.

I am trying to find part numbers. I have a Hyundai Elantra 2005. I need to know the radio fuse number, roof light fuse number and clock fuse number. All of them went out.

Am not sure whether you have the Hyundai Owners Manual. If you don't I find it very worthwhile. Section 6, the "do it yourself section" lists page 6-34 and 6-35 for fuse descriptions. Also on the cover of the fuse box in the car under the ash tray left of the driver is a pictogram, but in any case according to my manual radio and clock are both listed on the "audio" and is in the inner panel, the 10A at the top right(next to the spare). Don't know about your roof light - hope you don't take offense but assume you checked the switch just didn't get set wrong, but if it isn't solved by fixing that one, the manual lists RoomLP controlling the inside lights, which is in the bottom (shorter) row on the far right. Of course, this might not help but if it does I could possibly scan my owner's manual page and email it if you can't find one.

How do I reset the tire pressure system manually??

If you are referring to the TPMS light (warning light), there isn't one. The procedure requires the use of a system (computer) called the GDS (Global Diagnostic System). Only the Hyundai Dealerships have this system (proprietary). If you are referring to a 'Low Tire Pressure" warning light, simply raise the pressure in each tire to the manufacturer's recommended minimum pressure (psi - between 30 & 35 psi). The low tire pressure light will turn off after 5 minutes of driving.

2003 Hyundai Elantra Malfunction Light is On

What you can do is go to Auto Zone and have the code read. They will do this for free. This is the best thing to do.Other wise your just wasting your money replacing things that could have nothing to do will the problem. The owners manual just gives you a vague idea of what it could be.Usually the light will have to be reset with a scan tool or after it passes the test for what ever was causing the problem the light will clear itself. Some times it can take a times before it clears.Hope this helps.Good luck.

The tire pressure light came on this morning. Brought to a garage and they checked tire..not flat...just needs air. It is inflated and all other tires checked. The light still stays on. Is there a way to...

the sensor in the tire may be faulty. If you have taken it and checked the air pressure in the tires already and it stays on then you probably have a faulty sensor. try airing the tire up a little more and see if it goes out. If not you may need to go to the dealer. They should be able to connect to the computer and verify the faulty sensor. Did you air up all the tires? Some systems will only tell you a tire is low and not which tire it is so air them all up too!

Low tire pressure indicator lights up even after

working with these types of tiures on a daily basis ive seen inexpereineced lads break the sensor mounted at the valve stem (inside the tire of course) if your display tells you which tire is low i would have it removed and inspect the sensor. that is if oyur pressures are set corectly, also there is sometimers a reset button and just plain driving around will someitmes clear it to normal.

2008 hyundai indicator light

IT SOUNDS LIKE THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT. YOUR TIRES LOOSE AIR PRESSURE WHEN THE WEATHER GOES FROM HOT TO COLD. TRY ADDING SOME AIR TO THE TIRES. THE LIGHT SHOULD GO OUT. ALSO, LOOK IN THE OWNERS MANUAL, IT SHOULD GIVE AN EXPLANATION OF WARNING LIGHTS.
